Stephanie Boyle

Stephanie Boyle joined the Memorial in 2006, having worked as an audio visual archivist since 1997, including time with the National Film and Sound Archive and the National Archives. She has deployed to the Middle East, as well as to military bases around Australia, to conduct oral history interviews with current serving Defence Force members and to develop the Memorial’s National Collection. She has delivered research papers at major national conferences with a particular emphasis on oral histories and amateur film. She has a Bachelor of Arts from the Australian National University and a Graduate Diploma (Information Studies) from University of Canberra.

Kelly Burgess

Kelly Burgess has spent the last couple of years living and working in London. She graduated from the Australian National University in 2011 with Honours in Art History and Curatorship. Since then she has worked as an Exhibitions Officer at Imperial War Museums London and as an Assistant Curator of Art at the Australian War Memorial.

 

 

Vick Gwyn

Vick Gwyn is an Assistant Curator of Photographs, Film and Sound at the Australian War Memorial (AWM) and the founder and editor of The Kulture Kid Digest. Graduating from the University of Queensland with a BA in Archaeology and Anthropology, she has worked in collection management and curatorial roles as well as policy at the Ministry for the Arts. She is passionate about cultural identity and representation of marginalised groups in the GLAM sector. Vick has been sent on assignment in Australia as an oral historian and photographer for the AWM. She is currently undertaking the Master of Museums and Heritage studies at the Australian National University.
